What I take on.

Five services, done thoroughly — and the discipline to refer out when a project needs more. Everything below is work I'll quote, schedule, and deliver myself.

Home Styling & Decorating

A full styling of a room or home — pieces sourced, placed, and finished down to the vignette on the console. I take the room from "we have the furniture" to "the room is done."

Includes concept direction, sourcing (furniture, textiles, art, accessories), install day, and a punch-list walk through.

Fits · Full home · Single room · Refresh · Post-renovation

Furniture Selection & Placement

Pieces chosen for how you'll actually use the room, placed to make conversation and flow easy. I'll source three options per major piece and you choose from scaled layout drawings — so nothing arrives too big, too small, or in the wrong wood tone.

Includes a sourcing list with lead times, trade pricing where available, and the layout file your delivery team can follow.

Fits · Moving in · Empty rooms · Bad layout · New build

Colour & Paint Consultation

Palette, undertones, trim, ceilings. I walk the home, look at the light at different times of day, and come back with a written specification your painter can execute without guessing.

Includes paint-brand matching, sheen notes, and the order of operations (ceilings before walls, cutting-in advice, where to run the colour and where to stop it).

Fits · Before painting · Room feels off · Pre-listing refresh

Curtains, Lighting & Accessories

The finishing layer most rooms miss. Window treatments (specified, sourced, measured, installed), light fixtures (ambient, task, accent), hardware, and the small objects that make a room feel finished rather than furnished.

Works as a standalone service when the furniture is done but the room still feels unresolved, or bundled into a full styling engagement.

Fits · Room is 80% there · Looks unfinished · Fixtures outdated

Residential Space Planning

Non-structural layout work for new builds, awkward floorplans, and rooms where the flow just isn't right. Scaled drawings, furniture plans, circulation notes — no walls moved, no permits pulled.

Useful before you buy a sofa, before you move in, or when a room has always felt wrong and you can't name why.

Fits · New build · Weird floorplan · Flow issues · Pre-move-in
Common questions

What people usually ask before starting.

Do you work with budgets of all sizes?

I work on single-room engagements and whole homes. A single-room styling (styling-only, no furniture sourcing) can start at a few hundred dollars; a full-home engagement with sourcing, procurement, and install day is a project with its own quote. The first conversation is free — tell me what you're thinking and I'll give you a straight answer on fit.

Do you handle construction or renovation?

No. I don't take on structural work, permit sets, electrical, plumbing, or custom cabinetry fabrication. If your project needs any of that, I'll refer you to someone I'd use for my own home. Keeping my scope clear is how I stay good at the five services I do take on.

What areas do you cover?

I work across the Greater Toronto Area — Brampton, Oakville, Mississauga, Toronto, and the surrounding municipalities. For projects outside the GTA, send a note anyway — depending on scope and travel, I may still take it on.

How long does a project take?

A colour consultation or furniture-placement engagement can wrap in two to three weeks. A single-room styling with sourcing and install is typically four to six weeks. A full home can be six weeks to a few months depending on scope, lead times on furniture, and how quickly decisions get made.

Are you a licensed interior designer?

I'm a home stylist and interior decorator — not an ARIDO-registered interior designer. The services I offer (styling, decorating, colour consultation, furniture selection, non-structural space planning) do not require a licence in Ontario. For anything that does need a licensed professional, I refer out.

What I don't do.

Structural changes, permit sets, electrical, plumbing, custom cabinetry fabrication, and anything that needs an engineer or architect.

If your project needs any of those, I'll tell you up front and refer you to a tradesperson or designer I'd use for my own home. Keeping the scope clear is how I stay good at the things I do take on.

Not sure which fits? Send a note.

Tell me about the space and I'll tell you which services apply — including the honest answer when none of them do.
