Hi, I'm Ayushi.

I run AS Homs — a small home-styling studio based in Brampton, working with homeowners across the Greater Toronto Area.

I'm not an architect and I'm not a contractor. What I do is help you make the rooms you already have feel calm, intentional, and specifically yours.

How I approach a room

A few principles I come back to on every project — regardless of budget or scope.

Lived‑in, not staged.

A room that looks great in a photograph and feels strange to sit in isn't finished. Every styling decision starts with how you'll actually use the space — not what reads in a frame.

Few decisions, made well.

I'd rather spend a week finding the right sofa than fill a room with pieces that almost work. Fewer things, chosen with real care, outlast trends — and your room reads as considered.

Your things first.

Your rug from your travels, the chair that was your mother's, the painting you bought on impulse — those stay. New pieces get chosen to make the ones you love look better, not to replace them.

How we'd work together

Four steps, from first conversation to the day you come home to a finished room.

  1. 01

    Consult

I come walk the space (or you send photos and a floorplan) and we talk about what's working, what's not, and what you actually use the room for. First conversation is on me.

  2. 02

    Concept

I come back with a direction — palette, key pieces, layout, the feel of the room. We refine until it's right before any money gets spent.

  3. 03

    Source

I pull options for furniture, lighting, textiles, paint, and accessories. You approve each category. I handle ordering, tracking, and problem-solving when something arrives wrong.

  4. 04

    Install

Install day is one day. We stage, place, hang, style the whole room. You come home to a space that works — nothing to assemble, nothing to figure out.

What I'm not.

I don't take on structural work, permit sets, electrical, plumbing, or anything that needs an engineer or architect.

If your project needs any of that, I'll tell you up front and refer you to someone who does. The scope I keep is deliberately clear — it's how I stay good at the five things I actually do.

Tell me about the room.

Or the whole house. The first conversation is free, and I come back within 24 hours.
